Abstract   This paper deals with the mathematical model for the conical diffuser for several geometric for the gas turbine engine. The diffuser was designed for several area ratios and angles until circulation takes place in the flow. Then, at the best angle and area ratio, the diffuser will be used in engine. The computational procedure solves the time average Navier-Stokes equation for unsteady state, incompressible and turbulent flow in quasi-three dimensional situations. A Finite Element method is used to model the diffuser flow with rectangular element.
