In this study the nonlinear finite element method used to analysis full-scale reinforced concrete slab with opening strengthening with overlay concrete or CFRP sheets.
الوصف الكامل (Full Abstract)
In this study the nonlinear finite element method used to analysis full-scale reinforced concrete slab with
opening strengthening with overlay concrete or CFRP sheets. The FE model proposal in this study are simulate
by using results of experimental work from previous study. The strengthening models proposal in this study by
using overlay concrete increase load carrying capacity of slab by amount vary from (5 to 30) % of slab strength,
when strengthening by using CFRP sheet increase load carrying capacity from (10 to 65)% of slab strength.
