Summary
This study was undertaken to determine the work-related stressors that affect the teacher s overall well being and health. The study took place at (4) primary schools in Baghdad city. The investigators carried out this study through preparation of questionnaire including items related to work condition and specific problems. The main results show that higher percentage including financial rewards found to be very important also results show that teachers must have enough authority to do their job and finally the results show that there is no problem in communicating with parents about students. The study recommended that there must be an educational program to teach teachers coping mechanisms.
